Maidra Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 2025

Welcome to Maidra (“Maidra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maidra website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Maidra, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Nature of the Service

Maidra operates as a technology platform that connects customers with independent cleaning professionals (“Service Providers”). Maidra does not provide cleaning services directly and is not an employer of Service Providers.

All cleaning services are performed by independent contractors who control how the services are delivered.

2. Eligibility

To use Maidra, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during booking

3. Booking & Scheduling

• Bookings are made exclusively through the Maidra Platform.
• Appointment times are estimated arrival windows, not exact arrival times.
• Availability is subject to Service Provider schedules and service area coverage.
• You may reschedule or cancel appointments through your account, subject to our cancellation policy.

4. Pricing & Payments

• Prices displayed on the Platform are estimates based on service type, home size, add-ons, and frequency.
• Final pricing may adjust if the scope of work materially changes.
• All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
• By booking a service, you authorize Maidra to charge your selected payment method.

      Recurring Services

• Recurring bookings renew automatically until canceled.
• You may cancel recurring services at any time in accordance with the cancellation policy.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• Cancellations or reschedules made 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment incur no fee.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a cancellation fee.
• No-shows or denied access may be charged the full service amount.

6. Access to the Property

Customers agree to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
• Secure pets as required
• Disclose any hazards, fragile items, or special instructions in advance

Maidra and Service Providers are not responsible for delays or incomplete services due to lack of access.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction matters to us.

If you are not satisfied with the service:

• Notify Maidra within 24 hours of service completion.
• We may offer a re-clean or partial refund at our discretion.

This guarantee does not apply to issues resulting from normal wear and tear, permanent damage, or undisclosed conditions.

8. Damages & Liability

• Service Providers are responsible for exercising reasonable care.
• Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
• Maidra’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.

Maidra is not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage
• Normal wear and tear
• Loss of cash, jewelry, or unsecured valuables
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Independent Contractor Disclaimer

Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of Maidra.

Maidra does not:

• Supervise cleaning methods
• Control work performance
• Guarantee specific Service Providers

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, discriminate against, or endanger Service Providers
• Provide false information
• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Circumvent the Platform to hire Service Providers directly

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

11. Reviews & Feedback

By submitting reviews or feedback, you grant Maidra a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display, and publish such content for marketing or operational purposes.

Maidra reserves the right to remove reviews that are abusive, misleading, or violate these Terms.

12. Account Termination

Maidra may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Abuse of Service Providers
• Fraudulent activity
• Safety concerns

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

13. Privacy

Your use of Maidra is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

You agree to waive the right to participate in class actions.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maidra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

16. Modifications to Terms

Maidra may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
